Sorry for the late email. I have two things I need to communicate.

1. As a reminder, team reps are essentially the referees of the meet. If anything comes up during a meet, please reach out to us. This includes rudeness/lousy sportsmanship from the other team, a DQ issue, etc. You can absolutely ask our coaches, but they are going to take it to us if it's an issue. Your team reps are Cristina and Nick Goucher and Amanda Friddle. Cristina has to miss the next two meets so you may also reach out to Monalisa Beltran or Erin Soulsby. 

It is inappropriate to approach a Stroke and Turn Judge regarding their calls (or lack of call), during or after a meet. Every now and then a mistake happens (the wrong lane gets input for example), but do know most DQ's cannot/will not be overturned. Also remember they are volunteers, who attended extra training on their own time, and do not get paid--and we appreciate them. If you think a mistake has been made, talk to your team rep. Cool?  

2. Completely different note: Champ meet is around the corner and our league is looking for lane sponsors and ads for the program book. All proceeds help fund the meet (and, y'all, they are hoping to raise enough to add MORE and BETTER shade all around the pool deck for champ meet, glory be). If you've never attended champ meet, it is a huge production. 15 teams and so many people. If you would like to encourage {or embarrass} your swimmer by sticking their photo in the program or get a tax write off for your business by submitting an ad, see attached pdf for more info.

Deadline is THIS Monday so don't snooze on the opportunity.

PPS Shout out to Mike Friddle and Teddy Haflich who painted numbers on our diving blocks so all swimmers know exactly where to line up.
